The land records in Chhattisgarh have been digitalized at tehsil level by the state government with the help of National Informatics centre, Chhattisgarh (NIC, CG) under the aegis of state government. Popularised by the project name ‘BHUINYA‘, the digitization is successful in all 18 districts and 150 tehsils. However the accuracy is continuously improving because of the toughness to manage mammoth data.Now a person who owns a piece of land in the state of Chhattisgarh can easily access its record (Khasra/khatauni) online. It acts as a proof of ownership. Also the document is used while land transactions/mutation.How to check land records (Khasra/khatauni)?
- When you visit the official website mentioned above, you can see a select-box from where you can choose the district in which you own the land.
- When you land on the next page, you have to select from p-II (khasra), p-II (detailed), B-1 (khatauni), B-1(brief). Choose what you want to see.
- When you go down, you will see the district box where the name of the district was already selected. Now select your tehsil, and village.
- Now enter your khasra number in the empty boxes given. If you find difficulty in sorting out the right way to fill then click on the question mark circle next to the box. And if you don’t know your khasra number then instead of that you can mention name also.
- After entering all details, click on the button below. If the details you’ve provided are correct then you’d be landed on your desired page where you can see your khasra.
Note that the data is available from 10:30AM to 05:30PM on all working daysWhat is Bhu-Naksha?Bhu-Naksha is a special service availed to the users by the government of Chhattisgarh. It enables the user to select their district and village and check if their plot is on the digitized map of the particular area. Apart from the interactive map, you can also check the area of your plot and if it’s irrigated area or not. By clicking you can see the district wise listing of tehsils.Apart from records, you can also check the rainfall in the state and give valuable feedback in case you went through some bug or had an idea of improvement that might help easing the digitization and maintenance of online land records.Digitization of land records has already been completed in Chhattisgarh. However, the linking of Aadhar card will be soon started in the state.
