odisha-land-recordsNow people in Orissa / Odisha can check land records easily without any trouble as the Government of India initiated a process to computerize the land records. Under this initiative, Government has issued an order to all states to create online systems to provide land owners their details with just few clicks. Odisha government has a system named as ‘Bhulekh’ under which land owners can get all the land record of their land. The National Informatics Center (NIC) Odisha unit and the revenue department of Odisha have developed Bhulekh software which will provide all the land records online to the end-users.The Software/online portal is widely known with different names like Ori Bhulekh, Odisha Bhulekh, Orissa Online land records, Odisha ROR and Odisha Land Records etc. The website created by the Odisha state government provides ROR data of about 310 tehsils from the state. The Odisha state has total 30 districts along with total 317 tehsils and 2064 RICs. On the other hand the state of Odisha comprises about 51210 villages and all the records of these villages have been computerized by the Odisha state government and are made available on the Bhulekh portal of the state.The land owners from Odisha can access there land records online anywhere on the official website/portal of the State government. The Official website of the Odisha state governments Bhulekh portal is www.bhulekh.ori.nic.in.To check the land record online, the land owner or the user have to select district name, sub division. Tehsil, village name.  It is also compulsory to enter Khatiyan number, plot number or name of the tenant . You can also view the land record via map related forms.Follow following steps to access or get your land records/ bhulekh/ bhu Abhilekh/ khata khatauni/ fard/ ROR details from Bhulekh website of the Odisha state government

  • Go on the official website of Odisha state government’s Bhulekh i.e. http://bhulekh.ori.nic.in
  • You will see several parts on the website, you will also have an option to download Odia font to fill details in Odia language
  • There is also a login form secured for the departmental use and selection form for selecting the village of your choice
  • In the main window page has four tabs to select details which you want to access, these are General Information, ROR view, Maps and Forms
  • Select the relevant tab according to your requirement
  • For the land records select ROR view tab
  • Once you select ROR view tab you will get three options to search your records
  • KhatiyanAt present the total number Khatiyan recorded are over 10798183. Select option of Khatiyan after selecting it enter village’s name in the section given above the selection buttons and click on next to get land details
  • PlotAs per a survey total number of plots available in Orissa is 49023764. Enter village name after selecting option of plot ion the section given above the radio buttons and  then click on next
  • TenantIn Orissa state there are around 26009447 tenants at present. After selecting this option, enter your village details and here you will have to enter additional information about R. I. Circle and then click on next
  • Other than this, you can also select location of your land directly through the ‘select location form’ by entering details of your choice like state, district, Sub Division and Village once you enter these details you will see the map of your tehsil, on that find your plot number or Khasara number and click to your village map and download your land records.

One of the prime reasons of crime is Orissa is land disputes. According to the government opinion, digitization of land record can bring clarity and help in cutting down the rate. Government is also planning to link Aadhar Card with land records to bring more transparency.Digitized land records are now available for all districts which includes Anugul, Balangir, Baleshwar, Bargarh, Baudh,.
