Chennai: The recent property exhibition by CREDAI Chennai, Fairpro 2014 (seventh edition) witnessed maximum demand for apartments that were ranged between Rs. 30 lakh to Rs.60 lakh. CREDAI, an apex body for real estate, noticed that most of the homebuyers are looking for apartments that are priced between this range.The real estate body said that, apart from this, the property exhibition also observed sales record of over 300 units and gained revenue of Rs. 200 crore. This year it was a record sale by Fairpro and it also recorded a pace of around 30,000. Around 72% of the flat bookings belonged to the price category of Rs. 30 lakh to Rs. 60 lakh, the statement further added.In total, this year the property exhibition saw housing bookings of 93 apartments that belonged to price range Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 30 lakh, 126 flats of Rs. 30 lakh to Rs. 60 lakh, 62 residential units priced between Rs. 60 lakh to Rs. 1 crore, 17 units worth Rs. 1 crore and Rs. 2 crore and finally 2 apartments that were booked were priced Rs. 3 crore to 5 crore and above Rs. 5 crore respectively.The property fair took place between February 21st and February 23rd in Chennai. About 72 reputed real estate developers participated in this property event and showcased some of their premium projects. The developers presented projects both for mid-income and high-income group.
