CREDAI Introduces Concession on Interest Rates for the Homebuyers in Pune

CREDAI-scheme-CREDAI which is an apex body for the private builders, has come up with a new scheme that would allow the homebuyers to pay an interest rate of only 7.5% on the loan taken till the time the possession is ready or by 24 months, any of which is earlier.According to the new plan, the lender will not take the interest cut; in fact the builders would have bear the varied amount between 7.5 % and the amount the lender would charge for that particular period. It is also essential to note that Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has imposed a range of limitations on such schemes that are meant to attract the buyers and even the court decisions that clarified the heavy promises made to draw the customer’s attention.CREDAI- Pune, Vice President stated that this scheme intends to assist the potential homebuyers who are willing to invest in residential properties. The current offer will also give customer an opportunity to pay 10% cost as down payment at the time of booking the property. As the project progresses, the bank will start to distribute the loan. The banks will carry out with the loan application as per the rules and would charge similar interest. Whoever signs the contract with the CREDAI Members, from January 17th to March 31st, 2014, will get back a surplus interest of 7.5% from the developers.
