Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) and CREDAI Sorts out the Water Body Issues

KMCKolkata: Some of the reputed real estate companies of Kolkata have asked the city municipal corporation to utilize the map reference points to plot the water bodies instead of completely being dependent on the satellite picture which was taken in 2004.Local builders under Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI), head of various departments like assessment and project management units that deals with heritage issues and water body problems along with the KMC Commissioner, in a meeting tried to convince the civic officials to conduct a check of the plots with water bodies to solve the issues that are raised due to the difference between the satellite image and the present situation on the ground. The builders are arguing on various issues. According to them the satellite image is faulty if it is taken during the rainy season as the low-lying undeveloped plots may also appear as water-bodies. The satellite image is not sufficient to decide the size of the water body. The builders are asking for the past records like title deeds, parchas, ROR, assessment records and general revision which are done in every six years. But primarily the developers are demanding to inspect the site before ruling on an issue.According to the sources, KMC has accepted the suggestion by the civic authorities as they found the issue was quite sensible. The CREDAI proposition regarding site visits and past records for more clarity was valid and logical according to the officials, therefore they reacted positively.According to the CREDAI officials, the current realty developers understand the value of water bodies and also promote the same in their projects. The issue is mainly with the small plots. Prominent builders use water bodies to their benefit as it makes their project premium.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
