PMC to Miss Deadline for Old Pune Development Plan

pune-develpement-planPune: Pune Municipal Corporation and the State’s Town Planning Department are on the verge of missing the predefined deadline to complete the process to make the development plan (DP) functional for the Old Pune city. PMC had prepared a draft development plan which was supposed to be functional by the deadline of March 2014.The draft development plan created by the PMC was published as per the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act (MR &TP Act) on March, 28 2013. According to the act it is mandatory that the planning authority has to submit the draft development Plan to the state government for further processing within six months from the publication of the DP.With the predefined schedule, the PMC has at the most two months to finalize the draft Development Plan and to make modifications once the report is submitted by the planning committee. The modified development plan has to be published at least one month prior to the submission to the state.The committee has a major role in the development plan of Old Pune, which contains seven members including three PMC standing committee members which are nominated by the general body of the PMC.Public interest litigation has been filed against the PMC in Bombay high court for not following the Rules and regulations while approving the new DP. The court has not demanded PMC to stop the process of development plan.According to the MR&TP Act, if the planning authority shall be deemed as it has failed to perform it duty imposed upon by the government and this can be done at any stage of the preparation of the draft DP.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
