Mumbai: 100 acre PWD government colony situated in Bandra East, one of the biggest redevelopment projects of Mumbai has been dropped by authorities. In 2010, redevelopment of the PWD government colony was allotted to three developers at an estimated cost of Rs 10,000 crore.Three developers which were given the redevelopment project included DB Realty, Ackruti and Kakade Infrastructure which were supposed to pay 1000 crore to the state government. Out of these three developers, only Kakade infrastructure paid Rs 146 crore which will be returned very soon by the government.The officials said that, state government has recently sanctioned Rs 50 crore for the repairs, hence it is expected that the redevelopment project will also make its way in the next few years. The colony was built in 1958 to 1968, has the largest portion of the land which can be uses for the redevelopment in the western suburbs of the city. The colony houses about 5000 housing units in multiple three storey buildings.Many builders were short listed for the redevelopment project of the Bandra colony with an estimated redevelopment cost of Rs 10000 crore. DB realty was awarded the redevelopment of about 57 acres of land while the rest of the land was allotted to the Kakade infrastructure and Ackruti in 2010.The redevelopment project had also included the construction of a specialty government hospital and an 8 lakh sq ft of administrative building similar to the current Mantralaya along with construction of shopping complexes, gardens, schools and recreational areas.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
