CREDAI to Hire Consultancy Firms to Study Andhra Pradesh Market

CREDAI1The Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI), Andhra Pradesh have decided to assign real estate consultancy service firms the task of examining various ongoing projects and also to check the demand and supply position in Hyderabad and Tier II cities of Andhra Pradesh.According to CREDAI President (AP), companies like Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), Housing Development and Finance Corporation (HDFC) and US-based CBRE will be shortlisted by them, so that by next week they can complete the study and submit it in 30 to 40 days. He also said that single-window clearance mechanism, which was pending since long time, was under active consideration of Ministry of Urban Development and would be considered before the course of real estate regulatory bill. The single window mechanism will help to track the regulatory approvals faster, from the current 6 to 12 months to direct, less than 30 days. On the sidelines of SMRs holding project launch, the President of CREDAI said that they expect about 20% direct cost-savings on constructs charges which will be passed on to the customers.SMR Holdings launched the Phase I of SMR Vinay Harmony County on Thursday. It is gated residential project at Rajendranagar in Hyderabad. The project is developed with an investment of Rs. 150 crore and is expected to get completed in next 2 years. SMR Holdings is planning to develop the project across 4 phases. The Phase I is developed with the financial support of ICICI bank and through internal accumulation.
