New Delhi: The Delhi NCR body of CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India) has recently formed subchapters to handle the problems and complaints of buyers of the NCR region better and faster.The CREDAI NCR body will form subchapters namely the CREDAI NCR (Delhi), CREDAI NCR (Raj Nagar Extension), CREDAI NCR (Western UP), CREDAI NCR (Raj Nagar Extension), CREDAI NCR (Haryana) and CREDAI NCR (Bhiwadi). The subchapters will be formed to distribute the pressure of handling complaints of buyers that concern member developers of CREDAI NCR. In the process the cases will be centrally handled by the CREDAI NCR but in coordination with the subchapter in the area where the complaint has been lodged. This process will help in clearing up the backlog that has been created at the parent body. The subchapters will be responsible for handling complaints only in the regions that come under NCR. That is, CREDAI NCR (Haryana) will handle complaints concerning member developers of only the region of Haryana that is included in NCR and not the rest of the state.The sub chapters were present for quite some time and were operational as well. But developers and builders had a tendency of directly joining the CREDAI NCR in Delhi which made every task more complicated to handle. Now only the developers whose real estate projects are located in Delhi can become members of the CREDAI NCR (Delhi). The other members will be transferred to the subchapters where their real estate projects are located. This will be applicable to new as well as the existent members. However, all the members will be known as members of the CREDAI NCR.CREDAI-NCR President Anil Kumar Sharma commented on the matter and said, “The decision to delegate the responsibilities to sub-chapters is a futuristic move.
