Pune: Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) Pune metro delegation met the Chief Minister, Prithviraj Chauhan last week to request him to mull over submitted memorandum that includes the Pune expansion plan and the issues related to it. The meeting took place in Mumbai.The CM considered the draft and agreed the development rule outlined for the A, B, C class of Municipal councils. Along with this the CM also approved the parking policy for the Pune Municipal Corporation areas. The CREDAI press release stated that the Chief Minister declared to issue the notification regarding these two approvals.Representatives of CREDAI Pune Metro, other office owners and managing committee members were the part of delegation who attended this meeting. Apart from them, senior officers from the ministries of Housing, Urban Development, Environment, CM Secretariat and Director Town Planning also attended the meeting in Mumbai.The meeting included the city’s expansion plan features like extended road networks for 10 km, extension of periphery of gaothan from 200 to 1500 meters, 1% LBC exemption for deemed transport and also for treatment of roads and amenities to public authorities, modification in special township rules and committee for high ride buildings.The President of CREDAI Pune Metro submitted the suggestion of the Rental Housing Scheme that focused on providing affordable housing to the migrants. This scheme aims for slum prevention.CREDAI Pune Metro was established in the year 1982 with an aim to promote the real estate sector. This association has a strong membership of 336 members comprising of top promoters and builders of Pune.
