The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has begun work on creating Puneri Chowpatty along the Khadakwasla reservoir on Pune-Sinhagad Road. PMC had planned to develop a 750-meter artificial beach complete with coconut trees along the dam’s backwaters in two phases.
