Mumbai: The departments of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation have been streamlined to achieve the target of distributing tax bills by this September end. At present this work is going on in full swing. With the computerization of the tax collection procedures, the targets are expected to be achieved well in advance.The property tax has been calculated based on the new capital-value system which received approval from the BMC this June. The BMC will dispatch and complete this distribution process before the next month. The bill will hold the summary of the actual tax amount payable along with the arrears, if any.
