Nigdi is about 18 kms from Pune City on old Mumbai-Pune Highway, falls under Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). Nigdi is well connected to all the places around this area by broad roads and rails. This area is well developed as far as the infrastructure is concerned. Akurdi Railway station is at the distance of about 3 kms. Pune Airport is about 24 kms. Nigdi has main bus stand and has frequent bus services to other locations in and around Pune. Areas in Nigdi are Nigdi Gaothan, Yamunanagar (Sector no. 21), Ganganagar (Sector no. 28), Sindhunagar (Sector no. 25), Bhakti Shakti Garden, Durga Devi Garden, Pradhikaran.
