Mysore Zoo (Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens):This 245 acre zoo is a home of various and rare species of flora and fauna. You can spot some unusual species of animals like Kangaroo, Chimpanzee, Emu, Giraffe, Nilgiri Langur, Ring Tailed Lumur, Mouse Deer and many others. Karanji Lake:This pristine lake is located behind Mysore Zoo and is spread over 90 acres of land. There is a high observation tower from where you can enjoy the view of the green landscapes.
St. Philomena’s Church:This is an ancient church which is over 200 years old. The church showcases Gothic Style architecture and has paintings that portray the birth of Jesus, last supper, crucifixion. The twin spires of the Cathedral are the main attraction of this church. It is 175 feet tall spires. The church looks marvelous when it gets illuminated during evening.
