After the news of launching online property registration services in West Delhi, Chief Minister of Delhi has now successfully launched online property registration in East Delhi too. The residents of East Delhi can now take a sigh of relief and enjoy the hassle-free property registration services.The new system has been launched in order to ensure transparency, maintain security and to eliminate the problems of irregularity and inefficiency in the registration system. The new system is introduced in the sub-registrar office, Preet Vihar in East Delhi. This convenient service has already been launched in sub-registrar offices of Rohini, Nand Nagri, Kapashera, Basai Dargapur and Mehrauli.The government is planning to expand the online property registration services in all the 13 sub-registrar offices by the end of 2013. According to the chief minister, the people of this location have been very supportive and have given them the strength to make Delhi one of the best cities in the world.The new system will allow the residents to register the properties online on the same day when the application is filed. Appropriate property audit track and cross verification of the transaction would be done therefore the system will be highly secured. According to the officials, the system will eradicate the role of the middlemen which would in turn guarantee greater transparency and accessibility.To register the properties online, the applicants have to take a prior appointment. The appointment can be taken online by accessing Revenue Department’s official website. After the appointment is fixed, the applicants have to come to the sub-registrar office. If the documents are accepted, then the applicant would receive the registered documents on the very same day.
