New Property Deal Format to be Introduced

With lack of uniformity in drafting the property documents, a new format is expected to be introduced to simplify the process of property documentation. At present there is no transparency or homogeneity in the format, making it difficult to gather even basic property information. Sales deed runs upto 10 pages revealing very few relevant particulars.A specified sales deed format taking care of the fact that basic information like owner’s name, address and other important details appear on the front page for quick preview. The index sheet or front page will be completely refurbished to fit the new format. 10 standard formats will be followed for any kind of property related transactions.With a nod from the Government, signaling approval, the new format will be introduced within two months.
