Bangalore: Good news for aspiring home buyers in Bangalore. More homes will now be made available. The prime reasons behind this are the metro lines, proximity to the international airport and the IT Belts. Bangalore stands at the 10th position in the list of most preferred residential destinations in Asia Pacific. Compared to other cities of India, Bangalore has experienced the maximum amount of growth in the real estate activities. The IT industry, electronics, leather, apparel and the auto industry have hugely contributed to the real estate development of this city. A large number of HNIs are investing in more than one home. Some of the most reputed builders have launched and developed real estate projects in Bangalore. These projects mostly include apartments and villas townships. Capital values of ready properties have maintained stability in the last year. However, availability of new properties and projects has influenced this stability. It has been predicted that market conditions will be improved in the second half of 2012. The demand in rental properties will also continue to be the same. Most of the residential projects are made available in the locations in the proximity of the international airport and towards Whitefield. This is because several top class international companies are located in Whitefield. Whitefield, Outer Ring Road and Electronic City are the most desired and preferred residential locations by HNIs and IT professionals. Rentals are also expected to rise in these locations this year. A recent research stated that Bangalore has witnessed a launch of around 10,000 new units in the current fiscal year. These projects are expected to be completed in next two-three years. Currently, most of the residential projects are concentrated towards the southern and the northern locations of the city. Bangalore, at present has more than 1.15 lac residential units in construction process.
