The building spans over a vertical height of 63.4 meters build by combining several building blocks to form a vertical slab of building blocks instead of placing it horizontally. Architectural strikeThe most striking thing about the building is its large central opening about 36 meters high from the ground which provides a communal garden and a sweeping views of the Sierra de Gaudarrama due to this reason the building acquired its name as Mirador meaning view point. The whole structure is built by combining nine separate blocks around the central hole which can be distinguished even from out side due to the use of different color tones and similarities in the concrete and stones. Mirador was presented in the museum of Modern Art in New York in 2005 which praised it as one of Spain’s most innovative constructions.
