A 165 km long concrete roadway has finally brought Greater Noida closer to Agra. A five hour journey has been reduced to a 2 hour travel with the inauguration of the Yamuna Expressway. This six lane expressway was made open to the public from the 9th of August 2012. Constructed at the cost of Rs. 12,535 crore, the Yamuna expressway’s opening will ensure better connectivity between the two cities of Uttar Pradesh. Rs.150 for two wheelers and 320 for cars is the toll charges being announced for using the newly inaugurated Yamuna Expressway.The Yamuna Expressway has opened up better avenues for the real estate sector as well. Constructions of integrated townships and newer residential projects have picked up pace with the inauguration of the Yamuna Expressway.Adjoining areas will also experience a realty boom since the expressway has accelerated mobility to a major extent.
