These candleholders are usually made of heat resistant materials such as glass and metal. In case of metal, different cutouts are made on the covering surface so that the light from within emerges in the respective patterns. If colored glass is used then colored light is emitted. Ground glass lantern candleholders give out a soft, romantic light.
Fitted candleholders: These candle holders are shaped so that votive or tealight candles are fitted perfectly into them. They are made of glass, metal or clay.
