Crystal Island – City within a Building

crystal-islandCrystal Island, an eye-popping man made wonder is on its way of creating a history in the world of construction. Crystal Island is a mountainous spiraling marvel, designed by Sir Norman Foster with a height of 1476 feet and 27 million square feet area. The idea behind the construction of this building is to form “city within a building” with ultramodern designing techniques and architectures. The proposed superstructure guarantees to be the next major tourist destination of the Moscow, Russia housing about 30000 residents with blend of buildings including theatre, museums, cinemas, etc. The structure also offers panoramic views of the Moscow from viewing platform at the apex. The construction approval for the building has been already given and the building is set to be developed on the peninsula between Moscow-river and Andropov Avenue. The CrystalIsland, $ 4 billion project from Moscow will redefine structural and architectural rules. CrystalIsland will be using technology and methods in different way to structure the project and place it on the skyline of the Moscow city.Architecture and InnovationThe superstructure is designed by the Fosters and partners, a globally renowned designing firm and this superstructure resembles to its previous designs from the Astana, Kazakhstan. CrystalIsland comprises the staggering floor area which will be four times that of to the Pentagon in Washington. The tent-like structure’s spiraling will emerge from the majestically landscaped park, rising in converse directions forming diagonal grids. The diagonal grids will extend throughout the building forming an eye catching structural beauty for the building. The structure is built considering the Moscow’s extreme weather conditions, the internal built volumes form a staggered structure within the triangulated steel mega frame of the building, extending flush against the sloping facetted outer glazed skin. The formation creates a series of wintergardens, which form a second breathable layer and a thermal buffer for the main structure. The breathable second layer and thermal buffer shields the interior of the structure from the extreme summer and winter climates. Dynamic enclosure panels are slotted into the structural framing of the building which allows the daylights to penetrate inside the building which can be controlled to modify the internal atmosphere of the scheme. A vertical louvre system overlaps the internal façade of the scheme to ensure the privacy of the apartments.City within a Building                              The building is supposed to be integrated into the landscaped park to provide various activities throughout the year along with winter seasoned activities like cross country skiing, ice skating, etc. The huge superstructure will feature 900 apartments, 3000 hotel rooms, cinemas, theatre, sports complex, and much more along with an international school housing 500 students. The structure is designed to provide underground parking for about 16500 vehicles. Visitors of the crystal island can enjoy the 360 panoramic view of the Moscow city from the viewing platform situated at the height of the 980 feet above ground on the main building. The building is completely designed as a self sustaining city comprising built-in solar panels and wind turbines which will generate electricity for this huge tower. The architects and designers of the scheme considered the need of the energy management in the tower and have planned several on-site renewable and low-carbon energy generation projects.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
