The structure of the building is created after through scientific analysis which as a result reduces the level of solar gain and loss of heat through surface. The building is 45 meters tall with the floor space of about 185,000 sq ft. There are total 10 floors.Once you enter City hall, the first thing that will catch attention is the helical walkway which is about 1640 feet long. This path soars from bottom to the top of the building. The walkway is accompanied with stunning views of the interiors and the river. There is a large exhibition hall on the top of the slope which has an open viewing deck. It is known as London’s Living Room. The egg-shaped building also comprises of an Assembly chamber which has a seating capacity of 250 members. The building is a part More London complex which includes shops, offices and deep-set amphitheater.The office space is flexible. At the lower ground level, you will find London’s Kitchen Café which is open only for the members of public. The cafeteria offers hot breakfast, a zest bar, Costa Coffee, self-service salad bar and other foodstuffs.Green City Hall:Apart from the striking design, the building has many eco-friendly features that make it an exceptional modern structure. The edifice has solar panel on the roof apart from that voltage optimisation technology has been installed that reduces the energy usage and voltage requirement of the equipments. The windows when open provide natural light and ventilation.
