It is now easy to reach the temple.The main deity in this magnificent centuries old temple is Lord Ganesha. The Ganesh idol situated in this shrine is of rare type because he is having the trunk on his right side. It is believed that this sort of idols of Ganesha is very rare and he is known as Ujwya Sondecha Ganpati. It is also strongly believed by devotees that the Ganesha in this temple is a live god who listens to the problems of his devotees and helps them. Just in front of the temple you will find a pond filled with fish and turtles. Kids love to watch them more than visiting the temple. There is another shrine here dedicated to Lord Shiva. Though it is smaller than the Ganesh temple but worth paying a visit. The stone steps at the right side of the Ganesh temple take you to the top of dome of temple. From the top of the hill one can enjoy the panoramic view of the surroundings, dense trees of coconut, betel nuts and others apart from the spectacular Suvarnadurg Fort and the splendid Arabian Sea.This natural nest of Anjarle is also blessed by a serene beach.
