CREDAI-NCR Planning to Connect the Bihar Bylaws with Development Needs

CREDAI-NCRThe apex body for the private realty builders of our country, Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) has put forth their view to match the Bihar Bylaws with the development needs. Bihar Government had currently organized Udyami Panchayat where this suggestion was kept forward. The meeting was attended by the President of CREDAI NCR and Amrapali Group’s CMD as a part of developers’ body.The Bihar Government had invited proposal presented by the stakeholders on the planned Draft Building Bylaws (DBB) with respect to meet housing unit requirements within the state.According to the Chief Minister of Bihar, the construction rate in the state is 11% against the 33% of national rate and underlined the fact that it has to be increased to at least 20% by the next fiscal year. In order to meet the needs, state Chief Minister has asked the Urban Development Department to set different type of bylaws as per the various areas of the state, reduced circle rates and extended satellite townships close to Patna.On the basis of the state government decisions and complete suggestions on building the bylaws, the CREDAI NCR president said that it is favorably a good start. Though the developers’ group had presented numerous proposals which have not been accepted till now, they willingly welcome the government’s progressive viewpoint and understand the outlook of the stakeholders.The present decision made by the Bihar government indicates that it wants to take the state forward.
