Bangalore: Bangalore’s largest residential township, which will be situated in the northern region of the city, has been sketched by Mantri Developers with an equal joint venture of global investor Xander. Mega Township of 13 million sq ft will be developed in the adjacent region of the upcoming suburb of Hebbal.Proposed Mega Township will house about 9000 apartments which will commence its development in the early next year. Xander has committed that it will invest an equal amount in the project which will be over $100 million. Xander and Mantri Developers have already worked on many projects in the joint venture. Xander has invested in number of projects across India and recently, Xander decided to invest in Chennai’s IT Park with an estimated investment of about 690 crore.Mantri Developers has planned to develop about 9000 residential units in several phases, on a 120 acre land parcel situated adjacent to Manyata Embassy Business Park in North Bangalore. The proposed average price of the unit would come in the Rs 1 crore brackets with smallest unit costing about Rs 75 lakh.Mantri developers is one of the most prominent developers in the country, having an active part in the four big Metro cities like Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai. Mantri developers has a portfolio of about 15 million sq ft completed residential developments along with 20 million sq ft under construction developments. Mantri Developers confirmed the investment of Xander for this mega township project.Mega Township project is expected to get completed in eight years from its commencement.
