Ahmedabad: Public Interest Intigation (PIL) has been filed in the Gujarat High Court which seeks direction regarding various repair work and redevelopment of various old building situated in Ahmedabad. The PIL was filed in the high court seeking proper directions to Amhmedabad Municipal Corporation for the repair work on various old buildings.The petition was filed by Old Walled City Residency Group stating that the civic body is not giving permission to properties which request its permission for repair work in the building, although the state government has passed legislation granting permission for regularization of illegal buildings in the city. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) houses about 900 building including the structures which have been declared as heritage structures.The PIL submitted in the court stated that the AMC’s current policy will not work for these structures any further delay in the renovation of such structure will make them highly unsafe for use. Earlier, the civic body had issued notices to people living in 25 such old buildings which require immediate renovation and repair work.The civic body had ensured court that it will consider decisions regarding preservation of heritage structures and implementation of Impact fee laws. The civic body stated that it would not grant permission to requests to change the status of heritage structures in the AMC’s jurisdiction from residential to commercial buildings.The Gujarat high court will look deep into the issue and will very soon give the decision regarding the petition by analyzing the complete issue. займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
