MHADA Assigns Six-member Committee to Review Kandivli Redevelopment

kandivli-redevelopmentMumbai: Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has formed a six-member committee which will review the Kandivli (east) redevelopment project. The Kandivli redevelopment project is estimated to be worth Rs 10,000 crore and will be one of the largest redevelopment projects in Mumbai.The Authority received many complaints from the segment of residents of the Samata Nagar colony. The redevelopment project will include Samata Nagar colony which is spread over 56 acres of land housing about 80 housing societies in the region. The redevelopment project was approved by the Authority, but the section of residents which included about 31 societies complained that these societies were included in the redevelopment project against their will.Residents complained against the SD Corporation saying that the 31 societies were added in the project without the consent of the residents. MHADA has built these housing societies about 30 years ago which included 165 buildings. IT has formed a committee of six members which will inquire the redevelopment project. The MHADA has given a no-objection certificate to the builder fro 84000 square meters, but the agreement between societies and builders is showing an area of 2.17 square meters.The committee assigned by the MHADA will be led by chief officer Niranjan Sudhansu which will determine the consent of the societies. The six member committee will also decide how much area will be demarcated for the Kandivli redevelopment project. Deputy registrar of cooperatives said that the general meeting held to approve the redevelopment had only eight societies out of the total 80 societies included in the project.SD Corporation said that they have already paid Rs 200 crore premium to MHADA along with Rs 150 crore for the residents to live on rent for till the project development completes.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
