From 2001 to 2011 the urban population has recorded an Annual Exponential Growth Rate of 2.7%. Thus it has caused the increase of urban population from 27.8% to 31.2%. Most of the urban population had been concentrated in the 4 mega cities, 2532 new ‘census towns’ and 53 million-plus cities. The overcrowding of the metros and megacities is over burdening these places. It is high time now to build sustainable urbanization. The conference will bring together personalities from all segments of real estate, finance, advanced technology and urban planning to discuss compact cities with sustainable urbanization. Some of the prominent speakers of the conference are namely: Ms Naini Jayaseelan, IAS, Member Secretary, NCR planning Board, Govt. of India, Shri G.S.Sandhu, IAS Additional Chief Secretary, Housing and Urban Development & LSG, Govt. of Rajasthan, Shri Mayank Saxena, Managing Director, Land Services, JLL, Shri Rakesh Kaul, CEO, Experion Developers Pvt. Ltd. There are going to be many other notable figures. The president of NAREDCO said, “NAREDCO is pleased to organize this conference as the future if India lies in its cities. Even the Government has increased allocation towards urban development. This will serve as an ideal platform for the industry, government and other stakeholders to come together and discuss as to how we can plan our future cities and develop them into sustainable habitats. In the coming few years around 50% of the country’s population will stay in cities, hence this platform becomes very important for us to discuss and plan our future cities.”займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
