Mahindra Lifespaces Planning to Foray into Rajasthan and MP

mahindra-lifespacesThe real estate arm of Mahindra Group, Mahindra Lifespaces is planning to foray into Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan by launching affordable housing projects. This Mumbai headquartered real estate firm had declared two residential projects in Chennai and Mumbai comprising of 1 and 2 BHK apartments under ‘Happinest’. The company is planning to expand similar affordable housing projects in other states too.According to the business-head of Mahindra Lifespaces -‘Happinest’, they are presently focusing on Maharashtra state market and also looking to launch more affordable residential projects in other states of India. The approval process would be one of the prime factors they need to focus while planning for their expansion. Whichever state offers right atmosphere that suits the affordable housing policy will be considered.As per the company’s discussions with various stakeholders, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan have been shortlisted for launching Happinest kind of residential projects.One of the initial Happinest project in Avadi, Chennai has successfully sold more than 350 residential units out of 604 units in Phase I. Now the company is planning to launch Phase II which would offer 176 residential units especially comprising of 1 BHK apartments.Happinest residential project is spread across 13 acres of land. The project provides around 1,200 housing spaces ranging from 396 sq ft to 677 sq ft.Mahindra Lifespaces has currently announced to launch its initial premium residential project in Bangalore, Bannerghatta Main Road.
