Mumbai: The state environment department has suggested to eliminate the compulsory eco-clearances for the construction of mega building projects in the state and has delegated the duties to the local bodies.According to the housing industry, around 50 % of the development in the state capital, Mumbai covers such kind of constructions that is over 2 lakh square feet of area. The principal secretary said that the proposal was sent last month and the Ministry of Environment andForests have taken this under consideration. In any case, the projects have to undergo various municipal clearances, thus the state government is trying to ease the process by reducing one level of clearance. The municipal bodies have to scrutinize the projects under various parameters which include sewage and garbage disposal plans and also water supply and rainwater harvesting plans will be checked.According to the president of National Real Estate Development Council, a lot of time is wasted in the lengthy approval process and paperwork, however if the proposal gets sanctioned, only single-window clearance will be followed for these mega projects. The municipality will be well set to check if the conditions are followed. This drive will also accelerate the development of the projects, the housing industry said. However the state environment department claims that government is attempting to eliminate its responsibilities to protect the environmental norms.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
