YEIDA Ask the Allotees to Pay Extra or Surrender the Plots

plotDelhi/NCR: Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority has decided to surrender the residential properties of the allottees, who are not willing to pay additional charges within the period of 90 days. The officials said that such allottees can submit their application to the YEIDA.According to the officials, the money paid for the plot will be returned back to the allottees with 6% of penal interest whereas the allotees who have paid one-time lease rent, their annual lease rent will be subtracted from the lease deed date to the date of plot being surrendered while the remaining amount will refunded.Apart from this the development authority has to pay the additional compensation to the farmers whose land has been utilized to develop the plots. They need to pay a compensation of 64.7 % while the land owners might have to share the burden of around Rs. 6,000 crore.All the allottees who bought the plot after 2009 and whose land comes under 77 villages are liable to pay the additional charges.As per the YEIDA officials, allottess who are individual plot owners, commercial land owners, real estate developers, institutes and whoever has acquired the property may have to pay an extra amount of around Rs. 600 to Rs. 2,200 per sq m. YEIDA group housing allottees have to pay Rs. 1,770 per sq m whereas allotees under 2009 residential scheme have to pay Rs. 1,330 per sq m.
