Mumbai: With respect to the Supreme Court order, residential units on the plots that are under private forest land will be soon legalized. The state revenue and forest department has asked the deputy conservators of forest to follow the Supreme Court orders.Around five lakh residents residing in locations like Thane, Bhandup, Virar, Mulund, Nahur, Borivli, Kandivli, Badlapur and Ambernath can take a sigh of relief. Reputed builders whose projects were on hold like Godrej Properties, Runwal Group, Oberoi Constructions, Nirmal Lifestyle will also benefit from the new order.According to the order, land records in which the plot owner is shown as the forest department will be now reverted to the original owner. As per the sources, the order is valid for the 18 petitioners who had come up to the court against the Bombay High Court order of 2008.About 6.4 lakh acres of land across Maharashtra has been affected by the private forest land tag. Government was ready to give up the developed lands in Thane and Mumbai but was unwilling to follow the same process in other parts of the states where it has obtained such lands. The ownership of all private forest land on which development has taken place or will take place will be transferred. The name of the forest department will be removed from the record of rights. This is with respect to Mumbai and Thane whereas in other parts of the state, the government will first identify whether it is forest land or not. If any forest exists on that land, the government will ensure that no construction takes place and will protect it.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
