After showing interest to come up with skyscraper towers around Hussainsagar in Hyderabad, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh is now planning to construct world’s tallest tower in Sanjeevaiah Park in the city itself. The area is around 92 acre of land and is controlled by Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority’s Buddha Purnima Project Authority.Recently, the Chief Minister had asked the revenue officials to check for the vacant land around Hussainsagar and also verify if the land is appropriate for the construction of skyscrapers. There were 7 teams that worked under the survey department and conducted the survey. As per the survey, 30 land parcels were identified, spread across 1 acre to 20 acres.According to the officials, Sanjeevaiah Park will be witnessing the launch of world’s tallest building; however they confirmed that the tower will not disturb the park. The officials further said that it was first decided that this multi-storey tower will be built in the location where Nursing College and Dilkusha guest house is present.Complete proposals regarding the tower and method of construction will be soon prepared by the officials. The meeting where the decision took place was also attended by the Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal.
