The real estate arm of Mahindra Group, Mahindra Lifespace Developers with an intention to offer good quality residential project at reasonable price has launched its second affordable residential project. This realty firm had established a new venture called ‘Happinest’ in August which focuses on affordable housing projects. Under this venture, the company has launched their second affordable project in Boisar.According to the CEO and Managing Director of Mahindra Lifespace Developers, they aim to launch quality projects with affordable price tag. They have decided to start with major projects. One of the projects is already launched in Chennai and second will be set in Boisar.She further said that there is a colossal demand for affordable housing and they are looking for locations in Maharashtra itself as there is increase in demand in affordable segment as well as growth in infrastructure and industries.The project in Boisar is spread across 14 acres of land and offers 1 RK, 1 BHK and 2 BHK flats, sizing 351 sq ft to 695 sq ft area. There are total 1,400 housing units, with price range of Rs. 9.1 lakh to Rs. 17.5 lakh.The construction of first phase will start off from next week, under which 359 units will be constructed. This phase is expected to get completed within a year.Happinest is aiming to fulfill housing needs of people who earn around Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 40,000 monthly.
