Mumbai Comes Down to 10th Position in Terms of Office Rentals

office rentalAccording to a recent survey report presented by Knight Frank, Mumbai slips to 10th position with respect to office rentals.  15 prominent cities around the globe were surveyed, among which Mumbai holds 10th place.As per the survey report by Knight Frank, the major reasons for drop of position from 6th rank  in 2007 to 10th rank in 2014 is late revival in economic condition of India and also lack of confidence in business. These two factors have affected the office market of Mumbai as compared to other global cities and have led to drop in the global ranking between 2007 and 14.The report said that as compared to office rentals in London at Rs. 900 per sq ft and New York which stands at Rs. 360 per sq ft, Mumbai stands lowest at Rs. 250 per sq ft.  However, the report also suggested that due to the improved market sentiments, office rentals in the city are likely to increase by 15 % in next five years.The vacancy level in Mumbai office market is currently at 23 % which is actually highest in comparison to the 15 global cities.According to the report, Sydney offer rental yields of 6.3 %, Washington – 6.2 % and Shanghai 6 % while as compared to these cities, Mumbai offers highest rental yields at 10. 3%.The 15 global cities which were reviewed by Knight Frank are Mumbai, Sydney, Shanghai, Tokyo, Washington, London, Hong Kong, New York, Mexico City, San Francisco, Singapore, Houston, Paris, Madrid and Frankfurt.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
