Delhi/NCR: Delhi Development Authority for the first in its new housing scheme which opened up on 1st September, allow the applicants as well as the prospective homebuyers to see the sample flats. People can see the type of residential units offered till 9th of October which is last date for submitting the form.The development authority had this time notified about this housing scheme by advertising in newspapers. Housing scheme 2014, will be offering residential properties belonging to various categories like flats, villas, apartments, houses and plots. The housing scheme will offer in total 25,034 flats which would range between Rs. 7 lakh to Rs. 1.5 crore (covering all categories).An amount of Rs. 360 crore will be allocated to look after the maintenance of residential units for the next 30 years. Along with this there will be a five-year lock in period as per which the allottees will not be permitted to sell their flats.According to the DDA officials, there are 896 residential units that will be built under green norms and will be developed in areas like Dwarka, Vasant Kunj, Rohini, Narela and Jasola.The development authority has made the registration process, online to ensure transparency. There would be no file or challan procedure as before and only PAN card and Aadhar card will be required during the form submission.The senior authority official said that they were getting too much of inquiries about the new housing scheme hence they decided to allow the people to witness few sample flats.
