BBMP Commences with Development Fee Collection for ‘A’ Khata

BBMPBangalore:  The wait is over of citizens of Bangalore city who were seeking for ‘A’ Khata as the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has decided to start with the collection of development fees. This drive will aid the corporation to gain revenue of around Rs. 500 crore.  It will also help the owners to attain legalized tenure of properties.The move was facing some technical problems, till now however the commissioner of BBMP handed over a circular to the officers to carry out the development fees collection from property owners who possess undivided single housing layout which were granted by the deputy commissioner before.The deputy commissioner of the revenue department of BBMP said that most of these properties were not legalized due to some issues. Currently ‘A’ khata will not be issued to such properties. The undivided property present in the revenue pockets can pay the development fees and acquire A Khata. This facility is available to only layouts that are approved by Bangalore Development Authority (BDA).The officials have been warned to collect the fees only after conducting a thorough inspection of the documents. Currently these property owners only possess ‘B’ Khata, therefore they are not allowed to apply for bank loans or for electricity and water connections.  The corporation will be collecting development fees of Rs. 200 per sq m in 100 odd zones and from the remaining 98 wards which are located in the newly-added regions, the Palike will collect Rs. 250 per sq m.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
