New Delhi: National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) is all set to present a national seminar on eco-friendly housing that will focus on the issues related to delivering affordable homes that comprise of LIG and EWS categories with observance of green standards. The seminar will be conducted in New Delhi’s India Habitat Centre on 13th June, 2014.This event has already gathered a lot of response for participation. DDA and CII-IGBC have decided to unite as well as take part in the program while MNRE, MoHUPA and many others are planning to support the event. The prominent individuals of DDA, HUDCE, IAS, engineers and other such reputed set of people will be attending this Seminar.The main objective of this seminar is to plan for creating affordable homes that will follow green norms. Apart from development authorities and town planning members, the event will also see participation of real estate companies, architects and planners, property consultants, housing finance agencies, rating organizations, R&D institutions and all others associated with the real estate sector.Real estate developers have already come up with residential projects with green norms for the high income groups and mid-income groups. NAREDCO will be organizing this event to specially focus on affordable housing with eco-friendly standards.NAREDCO is an apex body for real estate sector.
