The real estate wing of Tata Group, Tata Housing has decided to launch its second project in Kolkata. This prominent real estate company will be investing a massive amount of Rs. 450 Crore to develop this project. This opulent residential project will be completed within a time span of over 4 years.The new project by Tata Housing named ‘Avenida‘ will be spread over 13 acres of land and will comprise of 700 posh residential apartments of 2 small bedrooms, 2 large bedrooms and 2 larger bedrooms units. Avenida is a perfect combination of architectural splendor and ultra-modern features. The project will be located in Kolkata’s New Town, Rajarhat.The Managing Director and CEO of Tata Housing said that with the increasing number of luxury residences with top-notch amenities in our country, Avenida is company’s premium project and is developed with an intention to expand their presence in Kolkata in the luxury segment. This will be their second residential project in the city. The company is quite certain that this project will also be a milestone. According to the sources the development process will begin from this month and is expected to get completed by 2017. The estimated cost of the project is around Rs.450 crore.Tata Housing currently has 70 million sq ft properties under different construction, planning and execution stages. There are around 19 million sq ft projects still in pipeline. The company till now has marked its presence in cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Goa, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Bhubaneswar and Kolkata.
