Delhi/NCR: With respect to the matter of allotment of multiple plots to single owner under defence category and discretionary quota by Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA), the Haryana and Punjab High Court has recently requested this development authority to hand over them the list of names of all the owners who were supposedly bought multiple plots. As per the records presented by HUDA, there are over 8,000 people who were allowed to break the norms and purchase numerous plots, belonging to various categories.The urban development authorities have also been asked to publish the names of the owners of multiple plots in newspapers so that litigation can be stopped from getting larger because of disputed plots sale. The High Court has also asked the development authority to tell that what action has they taken against the people whose names are registered in FIR against the charge of owning more than one plot.Before the hearing day, HUDA served the list of names of the plot owners who were allotted 4 plots under the discretionary quota. The list mostly consist the names of people who were related to politicians and they had bought the plots under the name of their daughter, son or wife. These 4 plots were in Hisar, Karnal, Panchkula and Faridabad.After interference of the court, HUDA has asked to register FIR against all the allottees with multiple plots under defence quota. HUDA also presented the list of plot owners who owned more than one plot in the HUDA developed regions.
