Budget Offers Uniform Stamp Duty on Joint Development Projects in Bangalore

stamp-dutyThe real estate developers and land owners in Bangalore can be benefited with the current budget as it brings a hope to offer uniform stamp duty on joint development projects and bring down the cost of land registration. The budget has planned to charge 2% of uniform stamp duty. The developers as well as the landowners, last year had to bear charge of 6% stamp duty on the rate of their land share in the joint development project due to the difference in the rate of stamp duty. The industry had been requesting the government to change the anomaly. Most of the joint developments were put on hold due to this anomaly; in fact some of the developers and landowners took substitute way of development to avoid paying the additional charge of stamp duty. However the news of uniformity in stamp duty is a relief and also of great benefit to the developers and landowners.According to the sources, on the whole the budget did not modify the existing registration and stamp duty on flats and plots as per the current hike in the regulation value which the government had declared. As the cost of input for construction is escalating, it is a good idea to keep the stamp duty and registration duty charges same. The state Chief Minister is planning to incur revenue of around Rs 7,450 crore from the stamp and registration duty on all the properties till next financial year.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
