Hyderabad: Grater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a provision for developers and builders to file application for building permission applications online. The system is called as ‘e-town planning’ which will allow developers to file an online application form for the building permissions in Hyderabad.The system ‘e-Town Planning’ was launched by Greater Hyderabad mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain on February 1, 2014. Mayor added while inaugurating the system that this service can be utilized by citizens to get their building permissions which will be approved in transparent manner. The system also provides facility to interact with officials online to know the status of their application, or regarding the possible delay in getting application approval or regarding rejection.The system will definitely reduce efforts of citizens and through this system citizens would know details of the file without visiting the GHMC office.GHMC commissioner Somesh Kumar said that the new system would help applicants to question directly to the officials about delay and rejections of applications. GHMC commissioner also directed the town planning officials to sort out all building applications. He also asked the officials to submit a comprehensive report of the pending files with reasons so that the GHMC could work on a future plan of action to approve such pending building approvals.This system will help applicants to furnish all the details for seeking building and other permissions while they can also upload required maps for such permissions.
