Renowned Ghaziabad- based real estate firm, Gaursons is all set to invest Rs. 5,000 crore to launch a township on Yamuna Expressway. This real estate company will be developing this project on the land which was bought from Jaypee Group for about Rs. 1,700 crore. The project will be developed on 300 acres of land.The Managing Director of Gaursons said that, the new township project called Gaur Yamuna City will be spread across 250 acres of land and they will be developing 20,000 residential spaces in the first phase. The total project is worth Rs. 5,000 crore which includes the land cost too. The finance for the project will be managed from internal buildup and banks. This real estate firm will be developing the township in partnership with another real estate firm, Saviour Builders.He further added saying that, the project development work is already in progress and the first phase is likely to get completed within 3 years. They have also teamed up with a Korean firm to carry out the project on a fast pace. He also said that there is no land ownership disagreement taken place with the farmers regarding occupancy of this land for development.Apart from residential units, the township project will also comprise of schools, service apartments, commercial spaces and hotels. The residential units will be costing around Rs. 25 to 45 lakh as per the size.
