Kolkata: The Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (Hidco) has identified about 16 unused plots in the city which were allotted in 2009 or before that. The Kolkata government had earlier decided that no plot should remain un-used for more than six months after its allotment. Hidco authorities are now planning to impose a late fee of 10 per cent on the total cost of the property as a penalty for every year for the delay in proper use of the plots.The 10 per cent penalty will be additional to any legal steps taken by the Hidco authority which may be imposed on the property allotees. In the last board meeting, authorities had decided that properties which were earmarked for commercial use and are still lying unutilized would have to pay late fees of 10 per cent.Hidco has decided to commence a survey which will review the physical status of such properties which was conducted through a committee under chief architect of New Town Kolkata Development Authority (NKDA). The committee submitted a detailed report to the authorities which includes description of all the constructions or pre-construction activities on the plots allotted in 2009 or earlier.Report stated that some plots were un-utilized and no activity has been taken place on these properties. Several plots were allotted to private organization for commercial purposes such as school, colleges, and hospitals etc. Hidco authority had sent notices to such property owners asking reasons for the delay in the utilization of the property and some of the property owners had relied to the Hidco notices.Hidco authority stated that it will take significant actions against these 16 properties for not utilizing the allotted plots.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
