Noida Authority Approves for Mixed Land-use Policy

mixed-land-useMixed land-use policy will now be the part of Noida Master Plan – 2021 as Noida Authority has agreed to come up with this policy that will allow development of offices, retail shops, residential complexes, food outlets and entertainment zones in particular areas in industrial and institutional locations.The policy primarily intends to permit housing facilities within the commercial areas and institutional sectors which will aid in optimal use of land. Apart from this the MNCs, BPOs, ITs and other corporate companies will also be profited with the mixed land-use policy as it would allow accommodating the employees on temporary basis. The policy will also include the need of transport services to the workplaces.The Chief executive and the Chairman of Noida said that the mixed land-use policy is an element of the draft bill of the state Urban Housing and Habitat Policy 2013. The authority has approved with the policy and will execute this plan by keeping in view the shortage of land and availability of variety of facilities, easily in the commercial zones.Individual plot owners as well as real estate developers will be benefited with the mixed land-use policy. Since long time the policy was in demand by both plot owners and developers and they feel that this policy will provide people all their needs at their doorstep. Right from housing to workplace, entertainment to shopping, eating all will be available within the zone under this policy.
