According to a survey, among the top eight cities of our country, Ahmedabad stood second on the ranking by beating prominent cities like Delhi and Mumbai. Hyderabad holds the first position of being the most affordable city for home buying. On the other hand, Ahmedabad ranked fifth on the list of the most affordable city for renting home focusing on the high rental value. Cities like Kolkata, Bangalore, Pune and Chennai were also included in the survey.On the basis of the survey, person who earns more than 12 lakhs per annum should look for buying home rather than renting in Ahmedabad. The city offers good value of money for the property buyers. The average cost of the property, sizing 1000 sq ft in Ahmedabad is Rs. 49.95 lakh with the average cost of Rs.17, 286, doesn’t make it suitable for renting.Individual who earn less than Rs. 8 lakhs per annum are advised to look for renting options in Hyderabad while whose income level is between Rs. 13 lakh to Rs. 25 lakh can comfortably opt for buying a home in this city. This year, again Mumbai remains the costliest city as far as real estate is concerned. It is stated as the least affordable city for both, buying home or renting.
