According to a statement presented by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, out of the 6,000 houses which were shortlisted for structural audits, only 415 residential buildings have followed the orders which means only 7% of the buildings conducted the audit. The buildings which were identified for structural audits are unsafe structures which may collapse anytime and may kill several residents. The CM during the question hour, in his written reply revealed that the BMC has spotted around 39,534 that were constructed almost 30 years back and out of these buildings about 6,242 structures have been issued notices for conducting structural audits. The sources said that the buildings which are shortlisted for conducting audit might possess some serious issues regarding construction strength with respect to salty climatic conditions which can affect the steel and concrete apart from the structural changes made by the residents. The CM also revealed that builders of about 421 residential projects who were approved under the slum rehabilitation policy has also been issued notice for not initiating the construction work as per the schedule despite of easing all the formalities for starting the work.In most of the cases it has been noticed the builders did not begin with the construction process even though they had received all the approvals, development plan and land ownership rights. The CM further said that many of these builders are part of more than single Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) scheme and are also involved in various misdeeds. According to him, in the eastern and western suburbs of Mumbai, the SRA scheme was put on hold due to disputes over the land reservation and other related issues.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
