Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will be offering luxury flats in Gomtinagar Extension area with no interest amount on EMIs (Equal Monthly Installments) for two years. LDA has made a drastic change in the rules for the allotment process of luxury flats. The changed rules will be applicable to the opulent properties whose registration process starts from December. LDA has prepared a proposal to allot 240 luxury flats for registration.The allotee will be benefited by the changed rules as they can deposit EMI without any rate of interest for at least first two years. One of the biggest advantages of this new norm would be that the allotees need not have to pay the EMI for the period when the construction works gets delayed due to any land disputes or legal issues.The allottees earlier would pay 10% of the flat cost as registration fees but now the new norm allows the allottees to pay only 5% as property registration fees. 5% of the flat amount has to be paid at the time of possession. The LDA will be coming up with these luxury flats in Gomtinagar Extension area, along the Shaheed Path. The project would have only 6 premium flats with 2 bedrooms and 1 servant’s quarter while the remaining residential units will be having 3 bedrooms which would be larger than the other 6 flats. The housing units price range between Rs. 57 lakh to Rs. 88 lakh.
