As per the third quarter report presented by a well known property consultant, the net office space absorption across Ahmedabad has been reduced by 37% as compared to the last year’s same quarter. After National Capital Region (NCR) and Kolkata which saw a drop of 41% in office space demand, Ahmedabad is the second-highest city in our country to witness such a downturn. According to the report, the office space here belong to Grade A space that comprises of areas such as Prahladnagar, Ashram Road, SG Road, CG Road and Satellite.The report further added that during the third quarter, Ahmedabad saw a net absorption of nearly 86,000 sq ft of Grade A space while compared to the previous quarter there has been a marginal increase of 6%. Out of the 86,000 sq ft office space most of the space was occupied in major business blocks like Sarkhej-Gandhinagar Highway.Even though the leasing option saw a positive trend, the rentals on the whole have declined for past 6 months. Various sectors that have contributed in leasing office space are manufacturing sector which took up 38% of space, 35% of space is occupied by banking, financial services and insurance industries while the aviation segment saw a total absorption of 27%.As per the report, the developers should understand the fact that mixed commercial spaces that comprise of retail outlets or residential units are not preferred as Grade A office spaces are in more demand.The report also suggests that approximately 1.1 million sq ft of Grade A space will be set-up till December mainly across Gandhinagar areas and SG Highway.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
