The state government policy of regularizing the illegal colonies in Ludhiana gets a moderate response from the residents. Out of 308 illegal colonies, Ludhiana Municipal Corporation got only 55 applications while out of 1 lakh above unauthorized plots in the city, the Municipal Corporation got only 12,000 applications. The scheme to regularize the unauthorized properties was initiated few months back. Various awareness programs were organized by the Municipal Corporation. The civic body expected to earn in crores by the regularization policy and use those funds for the city development.According to the assistant commissioner of Municipal Corporation, the state government charged nominal fee for registering the illegal colonies and plots. They are charging very small amount for regularization process hence the residents should come forward and get their unauthorized properties registered so that they would be benefited with the basic amenities which they were not getting availed of earlier. The residents should also realize that if they do not regularize their properties then they would be penalized for not registering their unauthorized plots or colonies. If the dwellers fail to submit the regularization fee on time then basic facilities like sewerage, electricity, water supply connection and other such services will be disconnected in their colonies. The assistant town planner (headquarters) said that the residents are taking the regularization scheme very lightly and do not understand the consequences, this is the reason why the state government has received very less applications.November 15th would be the last date for the submission of the fee with penalty.займ на карту без отказов круглосуточновзять кредит онлайн
